On our origin trip to Colombia we cupped we cupped several coffees from different producers and regions on the hunt for a great espresso. The idea was to look for a washed coffee that’s sweet and clean with notes of chocolate and caramel. This is our choice for our seasonal espresso within the next coming months. We present to you our Hunters Blend. It’s made of 2 cultivars: castillo and caturra. It comes from the mountains of San Juan de la China in Tolima, Colombia. As an espresso it offers balance with sweet notes of caramel, chocolate and brown sugar or a typical Colombian “Agua de panela” juice.
